James is an international photographer with over 20 years of experience working at the heart of the industry’s most competitive hubs, London and New York. Now based in Helsinki, he brings a global perspective and a world-class technical foundation to the Finnish market.

His professional DNA was formed at the highest level of the industry. James spent years working closely alongside legendary photographers Patrick Demarchelier and David Sims, contributing to the technical execution of iconic shoots for Vogue (IT, UK, US), Dazed & Confused, i-D, and major campaigns for Chanel, Prada, and De Beers. During this period, he collaborated on sets with A-list talent ranging from Madonna to royalty and elite global athletes.

Having honed his craft under the world’s leading photographers, James brings a global standard of technical precision and creative agility to every production he leads. His experience spans complex, high-stakes commercial shoots shaped by international campaigns where clarity of vision and decisive leadership are essential.
